Recently, the preliminary report of the statistical results of the powder coating industry in 2023 was released. According to the comprehensive analysis of the sales volume of polyester resin, epoxy resin, additives, curing agent, NPG, etc. and the development of downstream industries, the sales volume of thermosetting powder coating in 2023 in China was about 2.484 million t, up 8% from the previous year.
Thermosetting powder coating is a film-forming resin, additives and pigments, fillers and other solid raw materials composed of 100% solid coating. It goes through four pure physical production processes of premixing, extrusion, tabletting and crushing, and there is no solvent addition in the whole process, so there is no waste gas, waste water and waste residue, which is harmless to human body, air, water source and soil.
